Hi
I havent dealt with TNT recently but seem to remember them asking for payment upon delivery. With parcel force you normally get a letter sent out to advise that there is a customs charge to pay before they try to deliver it. DHL will deliver first but then send a customs invoice afterwards. UPS will normally deliver and ask for payment upon delivery.
Either way you will pay an extra 20% based upon the shipment value if over £36.

I have just worked it out on a currency calculator and it just comes to under £36, so hopefully I should be alright  Grin

If you contact the depot and ask if it is ok to pay the delivery postman with a cheque they will normaly say yes, (sometimes you might have to fight your corner as they can be lazy buggers)
I remember arguing this with them  Grin as they have been contracted & paid to actualy deliver the item & taken it upon themselfs to collect the Customs duty (which they charge you for doing) so why should you have to collect the item!  I pointed out that I would have to take a taxi to the depot & back and therfore would have no choice but to bill them for that & my time LOL They deliverd  ROFL!

You should contact him directly at:  tbreyer@optonline.net
I sent him an email and got back to me saying that he has sold out of the cases  Sad

That doesn't suprise me. I talked to another dealer in New York and he said that the 3D set is an extremely limited case release. He said that there was only 200 cases produced on this set. (Not sure how accurate that is.) His ebay ID is yankeedoodle12144 he said that he had order some cases so if you send him an email through ebay he might have some for sell.

The last I heard was 400 cases, but it's possible that Artbox cut back production.

If that's true, I will be happy as it will push up the value of the inserts.

When I have had stuff delivered by people other than Royal Mail I have been able to pay the charge over the phone and then have it delivered later.  Boy they don't make these things easy  Roll Eyes

Has anyone heard a firm shipping date for this set yet?

That would be fine for me, then I can ask them to deliver on a day that suits me  Cheesy just means I will have to wait alittle longer from my boxes.

I believe the date is sill set at May 28th but it's a hoilday in the US.

That's what I posted in another thread.  My guess it that it will ship before the end of the month.  I hope. Praying  If it's any later, it will be way too close to the OOTP release.

most courier companies will invoice you for customs charges after they have delivered at least thats how it has been for me with DHL, UPS and TNT in the past but they may have changed what they do and I am a businessso maybe that makes a difference too

The worst thing is that I will be away from the 25th may to the 2nd June so if mine arrives in that time it will be the 4th June before i get it Sad

I haven't gone mad on this set, but I have spend alot more on the OOTP release, I am hoping to get boxes for this set 1st - 8th June at least. Then at least it gives alittle breather for the OOTP cards.

There was me hoping it would arrive during my week off but it looks like we will all have another week to wait not really very good especially with ootp coming out in the near future

Artbox are really not thinking about this this time

Artbox will have to push back OOTP.  Unless they've hired many more printers (and who knows what that would do to quality), I don't see how they can produce two big sets three weeks apart.

The is probible that the base sets and chase cards have all been printed for many months and are stored in Uncut sheets ready for cutting and packing the whole process ofpacking and cutting cards would only take a day or 2 as it is really quite a small print run for an industrial print company.

I would not be supprised if the only thing holding the set back is that they are trying to insert autos not redemptions and it is a waiting game on actors returning auto's
