Sorry to double post, but I have a prop question: To anyone who has gotten a Mandrake Plant (brown/body version): Does anyone have one with tiny hairs all over it?

I just got it in the mail and the body of it has these little hairs sticking out of it.  I thought they might be from something the seller was wearing or something, but they are actually stuck in there.  Help--any thoughts? Huh

I had the same thing happen with one of my cases! All of my pulls and chase were on one side of my boxes! Not sure why!!  Huh

Very odd, through it was maybe because they had changed the makers. Mum was rather miffed though as the one thing in each side meant we both found something.

My experience was "different but similar" ... almost all of the high chase were in one vertical half of the boxes in my case. (I won't say whether it was top or bottom, to avoid encouraging scavenging.) 18 on one level and 3 on the other. I had 7 high chase on one side and 14 on the other, so it wasn't even but not terribly extraordinary. But the "short" side was highly concentrated vertically. One quadrant produced only 2 foils and no high chase across the entire case!

Hi everyone, Cheesy
This is my very first post on this fantastic board and first of all i would like to say a big hello to everyone who has contributed to this particular thread so far and to say how amazing everybody's pics of their CoS cards are !!.
The reason that i am posting here first is that i have just treated myself a sealed case of 10 CoS sealed boxes and it is my first real big dive into Harry Potter trading cards after only buying a few PoAU sealed boxes and GoFU sealed boxes here and there.
It was a lot of money for me and i had to save for a little bit to buy it so i am really looking forward to opening the case!.
After seeing all the superb pics from other members i am really excited about opening all the boxes and i am keeping my fingers crossed for some nice cards!.
Hopefully, after i have opened all the boxes i will be able to put up some pics of all my cards.
Until then i would just like to say once again how great it to be posting on this board and in particular this thread with fellow CoS collectors.
Bye for now.

Hi and welcome to the board. Please do post some scans of your cards - you know how we like to see them. I hope you get lots of great pulls.

Hi Angels,
Thanks for the nice welcome. As soon as i am done i will post scans of all my cards.
I'm really hoping for some nice pulls too. I'm not holding out for much hope though as i have never had great luck with any previous sealed boxes. I have had nice cards but nothing out of the ordinary.
Perhaps i will be a bit more lucky with a case Praying
Hopefully i will begin posting the pics sometime tomorrow. I might try and do it in some sort of order. Film Cards first, then autograph cards, then costume cards and finally prop cards Cheesy
Thanks again for the welcome Angels and keep your fingers crossed for me Grin
