Probably a silly question but does the fact that Artbox had a prop/costume on display mean they are going to cut it up for cards? I truly hope it does but I am a little worried they were just displaying Harry items and not necessarily what will eventually become cards. Please someone tell me I am wrong

Artbox had a lot of items on display at last year's Comic Con and I think most, if not all, of the items were used for cards. Actually, I was surprised by the number of items on display last weekend. If Memorable Moments is to be released in August/September, there isn't a lot of time to produce the cards.

Fair cop guv, but looking at my swatch I must ask... what on earth it might be. I know we discussed this at the time but it appears to be a piece of cloth, not a mock leaf like the pear tree leaf card, and obviously the Willow itself is CG. So I really have no idea what the PoAU Willow card is... - answers on a postcard please to Roz of the Shack 123 Fake Street The British Isles

LOL Roz!
It could possibly a mock, cloth leaf. And they could be from when Harry and Hermione are thrown down the hole because I noticed that there are several leaves flying around and on the ground so...
With only about 6 limbs/branches on display, could this be a Case Incentive??

I'll have to check the DVD, but I think there's a piece about the Whomping Willow on disc 2. I vaguely remember seeing a blue screen scene when the willow attacks Harry and Hermione and I could have sworn that there was part of a tree prop and extra leaves that swirl around. I assumed that the swatches for the card came from those extra leaves.

Only $201.50 !!!! Funny how the BIN came out about 20 mins after the first sale....now everyone and their sister is going to want $201.50 for their set until they start under cutting each other with Bins..there's one seller that has at least 4 of these up for auction right now and he's listing more tonight and tomorrow..in the long run it is a quick profit but I think he might saturate these sets too soon and cut his own throat (and other sellers)

I bet the Howler is used as a case incentive, as it seems there isn't enough of it to go around. As for the feathers, seems they don't have many of them either, which could also end up being an incentive. I really hope not though. I would love one to go with my buckbeak feather.

I hope they have enough feathers to make it a 100+ prop, it would make a beautiful prop card with the 2 colors (variants variants ) and it can end up being very expensive.

Its so strange to look at. I couldn't figure out what it was. I first thought it was a Womping Willow branch, but it was just too hairy. I eventually just asked and I was told it was part of one Aragog's legs. Gross.

I'm pretty excited about some of the props on display. Looks like Artbox has definately been lurking around the Shack and took some of our ideas to heart. All 4 house ties, Aragog fur, Fawkes feathers, more Daily Prophets, howler, mandrakes, and more. Even if some of these turn out to be case incentives, I'll be getting all of them. I'm too far into my collection to stop now when some of the most exciting props are coming soon. But- another Slytherin scarf, Harrys Pj's, Harry 1st taks uniform, Hogwarts uniforms? We've seen those costumes before. Maybe they were just left over from the other sets?

Here's a link to a 4.5-minute video that someone shot of the Artbox booth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohipd6gBMa4There were autos on display! It's difficult to see them, but there are 12. Jon, the autos were just to the left of Harry's red and blue button-down. Do you or your friend have a picture of them?

Well, that was stupid to put Doom autos in the middle of a Harry Potter display.

Yeah the Doom autograph set was for sale for $300 I think. I understand the Mystery boxes and all, but if I was a dealer I would be even more pissed at the fact that you could walk up and buy a whole set of the only premium cards from the Doom set for $300. I am pretty sure a case is more than that.
