Hi All Wink Cheesy,

I have just seen this new collection of Buffy cards covering all of the 7 seasons in this limited edition of 2500 worldwide Coffin box set, I have always wanted to collect Buffy cards in general but thought might be hard to get full sets as prices might be staggeringly high, but will be buying this me thinks will become a real collectors piece and asset.
Just looks so cool in the velvet inlay with the rare metal foil chase cards on the inside of the lid plus the cards are arranged in a crucifix shape(spooky!!!).

What does anyone else think on this set?

Cheers

Well... in truth it was a bit of a flop. It was a brand new foil set in a snazzy box, but the base cards were all the same of course, and that's not exactly exciting.

I think a lot of dealers ended up selling this below cost just to get rid of it. It's still a nice thing for a collector to buy if they are new to the Hobby because they don't already have the base sets, and it might be available at a low price if you look around

Yes this was a total flop and was overpriced from the start I had 8 sets when they first came took me a full year to sell them and I just broke even. My last 3 sets I sold for £75 at a £40 loss each set.
It was very nice as a collectors piece.

Have seen it on ebay for £129.00 so I'm assuming this is over priced, so you dont have any more?

If possible your best bet would be to go to one of these shows

London Expo
http://www.londonexpo.com/

or

London Film and Comic Con
http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/

At a show in February I saw this going for as little as £60!

Actually the £129 price is about right really

but I don't think they sell verry well it is a lot of money for reprinted cards in a nice box
