there are some brilliantly animated cartoons that used to be shown on Channel 4 in the summer holidays, my brother recently bought the set on DVD. Genius. They must be american made because I think Tintin had an American accent (although I don't think any of the rest of the characters did).
Nope, I was wrong, that's a Canadian accent - which makes sense since the books were written in French, they probably animated it and did those in French but translated it to English for the 'other half' of Canada
It's really good. Mark just bought me the DVD boxed set myself as he saw it on a special offer
I think your son would love it. I remember watching it and loving it when I was about 12 but 9 should be fine
