just wondering what everyone thought of sales sheets?
Ive seen a GOF one listed on and I think they'd all look great at the start of my binders, but are they worth the $$$ to buy?

I have sales sheets at the beginning of all my binders, but that's just me.  It's not really nesessary to some.  If you buy a binder from a dealer, they include a sell sheet.  At least the 2 people I buy from do.   
Ask around the forum, some people probably have an extra here or there.
I'm not sure what the going rate on Ebay is for a sheet.

I personally collect the sales sheets for all sets I collect, but I think it's a matter of what you want to collect them.  I think the same thing holds true for the different colored promo sets.  I think getting the common colored set is a must, but getting all the other other color promos isn't really necessary, after all it's the same picture on the card just with different color foil.

They are tucked safely away!! No viewing for now!! And if I need to check something, I always search the boy's sets!!    Those are the sets that have tons of fingerprints on them!! 

Soooo! What seller do I need to contact? Would it be the one we usually buy from?

I just counted my "official" binders.  I have 3 harry potter, no updates.  1 Firefly, 1 Serenity, 1 Lost, 1 WOZ, 1 Alias season 4.  I've crammed 4 sets of Alias in that one binder, so I guess I'll have to spring for another season soon.  I'll my other sets are stored in plain binders from office supply stores.  I get the kind with the front and spine clear pockets so I can print out my own image and sort of make my own themed binder out of it.  That's what I did for LOTR since they don't have binders.
Now I've thought of 3 sellers I've bought from.
Tom - Tomunique
Ed - Scifi cards
Tony - Triangle cards
I've always gotten binder promos in them also.

There was a company in Germany that used to make copies of postage stamps in the colors  and same size as the  originals.
The backs of all of the stamps had the word replica on them.......very lightly printed by hand in pencil.
I wonder if they are still doing it?

I only own one official binder, as the cost plus postage to Australia is pretty outrageous. Like Kelly I get the clear fronted binders, and just put my own picture on...much cheaper, and just as good for displaying the cards.

hmm, sames, your looking at $50+ for the binders getting them over here.
I've bought a few clear front binders and thought the sell sheets would look good in the front of them, so thats why I thought Id see what everone else does.

Given that binders are so expensive to ship to Oz, then what you suggests sounds a good alternative to me Tash.
Besides, the money you save by not buying an 'official' binder, you can spend it on adding to your collection!!

New binders from office supply stores aren't always very cheap, either. In earlier days I could find all of the used 4-inch binders that I wanted, but even the larger businesses seem to be recycling more! I liked the big ones because I could put sets into pocket pages until I had enough related-by-theme sets to fill one. (Somehow, it didn't seem right to put the Disney sets in the same binder as the cheesecake -- I might want to loan the binder to a kid. Comic art doesn't mix as well with recent movies.)

One dealer I bought from not only included some sell sheets, but also used Rittenhouse wrappers as the packing material. I really need to send in my rewards points.
