Yes, but he's been type cast as being a bit dim - I don't think he has the craftiness of Slughorn.  I can't think of anyone fat enough, can you, so it'd have to be a body-suit job.

One magazine cast Bob Hoskins for Slughorn and I agree.

I don't know any British actors who woulc fit that role... I thought Brian Cox would have made a good Moody and Brendan Gleeson Slughorn, but I don't think that the other way around would work well...

Bob Hoskins is definately a Londoner but I don't think he is big enough for Slughorn (not just girth, Bob is quite short).  I also got the impression that Slughorn would be a 'posh' - certainly well spoken.  For all his acting skill Bob Hoskins is to posh accents what Dick Van Dyke was to Cockney accents

oh definitly billy Connolly for Scrimegoer, i think he'd have to loose the crazy coloured goatee lol. i love the matt lucas for slughorn, and a very camp David Walliams for Snape hahahahaa im very bored today lol
