Hi,
I just bought a set of the GOF film cell cards.  They are in great nick but they display something I have not seen before.  I have film cells from SS, COS, POA and OOP all which have film cells that I can relate to the relevant movie.

These new cards have 5 distinctly non-GOF film cells, and one so obscure I cannot make it out.

One of the film cells figures ron driving the flying ford anglia when harry falls out.  The other 4 all feature a harry of the SS age.  And the worst?  thing about this is that 3 of these cards appear to have the identical set of imature harry's in them  :-(

Okay I know film cell's capture a nano-second or something but these look identical.

I guess I have two questions:

1.  Has anyone else seen this phenomena in GOF film cell cards?

2.  And is it common?

Keeping my fingers crossed,

Cheers,  Pepper

This happened only with the GOF filmcards.  The teaser trailer for the movie included footage from SS, COS and POA.  When the cards were produced, cells were used from the entire trailer.  They are fairly common.  More than one copy of the trailer is used for the cards, so there are always duplicate cells.

Here's a link to the teaser trailer:

There's no need to delete. Smiley  Other people have had the same question about the GOF cards.

Thanks kbmom,

I will leave that to your judgement.

Thanks for the link, I've just seen all the cells I've got 'cept for the really obscure one.  I was a bit concerned.  :-)

Btw in my other sets I have a couple that match the cards.  Is that common?

The filmcards with cells that match the front of the card aren't common.  I'm still working on my POAU filmcard set with cells that match the picture or scene on the front of the card.  I need two cards, but I'm not that hopeful I'll ever be able to complete it the way I want. Undecided  I still look for any filmcards with matching cells, but I'll never again attempt to do a complete set, especially since all of the sets after POAU have significantly fewer filmcards.
