Yes in the "known world" - Peartree's number 15, 18, 22 and 23 have safely landed in our hands

Another one just ended at $155, so it looks like the prices are going to start staying on the high end. Any guesses as to when the first box reaches $200, here is the link to the $155 box. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=37901&item=6100033624&rd=1At that price it makes buying a permission form for around $200 seem cheap. I think the permission form and the Daily Prophet card are going to end up being two of the more sought after prop cards, as they are a lot more recognized in the books and in the movies. ztaylork

It depends on what the update will be like... if it is as appealing or more so, I reckon this series will begin to level off. Autograph wise, this series has the lead - Hermione, Sirius, Lupin and Dumbledore will be pretty hard to top. Unless the remaining 3-5 autos are Harry, Ron, Malfoy, Trelawney and Snape, I can't see PoA update being more in demand than PoA... similar to FOTR, TT and (soon) ROTK update sets.
I think prices will keep rising... until people come to their senses and realise they would be better off buying the seperate inserts... I guess the lure of the 'hotbox' is keeping them in there

Those prices look good for those of you who got boxes. I'm in Australia, and was a bit slow to realise the existence of HP cards, so I haven't got my hands on a single box. Now the prices are too high for me to even consider buying one... :'( The auto list for the update looks good though-one website I looked at listed Draco Malfoy as one of the signers....now I just have to decide how many boxes to order

Hi blackcat and welcome to the forum! I am from Australia too and can understand your frustration that Oz stockists did not even consider this release worth getting. Ordering from overseas is a bit of a joke, cos not only are prices sky high, but we have to add $30-40 onto the cost for delivery!!! I am hoping also that Malfoy is indeed a signer, that was a rumour i heard too, but that is all it has been so far - a rumour. Good luck with PoA update, i'm hopefully getting a couple of boxes as well!

Hi Blackcat, Welcome to the forum. Another Aussie here . Perth . We are all in the same boat but i have found that geting a box from england is cheaper than getting a box from Perth so but I also so that draco was a signer and maybe HAGRID if so I want one

Hey, thanks for the welcome. I kind of followed people over from the Topps board... With the POA boxes, the card dealer I usually use (Ozcards inc) tried to get the boxes in, but they were sold out early...he is getting update boxes in so I've put my name to a few, but I wonder whether I should buy extra elsewhere just in case....

Hi blackcat20 another Aussie! I contacted the distributor of these cards in Australia a few months ago and they told me that they weren't getting them in as no one was interested in them I am pretty sure they will be busting their guts to get the update seeing as this release was so successful. Nevertheless it is still cheaper to buy overseas and ay the extra postage than buy in Australia. Even as a retailer I can buy boxes and cses cheaper from retail outlets in the US cheaper than what i can purchase wholesale over here. If you are into buying overseas I have used Potomac distribution and they are really helpful and friendly. Good luck in finding some cards. greenpaw
