Bought 2 more cases ROTK UPDATE got 3 autos?Huh

2 of sala baker
1 of ordesky

boo hoo hoo

still no Peter Jackson

Even phoned UK's main TOPPS distributor (got "inc" in its name?)  The main retail department opened 20 cases and got 9 autos, but NO PETER JACKSON.  By my reconing 15 and a half cases should get you one.  Well by what I have found out there may be less than I thought of good old PETE JACKSON

Wow what are they going to do with all of those base set cards from all those cases they opened?  How many people are going to want them?  And no PJ Auto card!  I wonder if they are losing money on this deal?

Somehow that "inc" place manages to sell it's base sets (even new ones) for £15 to £20 each. I think they sell them retail to other card shops for about £10 each!

Wow they must be a sole source to command that kind of money.  Here in the States card shops can't give them away!  I brought down 20 base sets of ROTK to a local card shop and only one set was purchased.  That was last year and they still have the rest there.   People are just not interested in the Topps movie cards around here.    Sad
