There is a full color witch card by yours truly up there right now.  I only did 100 full color cards.  Happy bidding!

You know I really did!  Tom is a wonderful person to deal with, from an artist standpoint.  I enjoyed working on this so much I hope they do more or a follow up set for kansas!  That would rock

They are very close. In one you can see more of the strap details on her dress. Dorothy's face is smaller. On the other her lips have more detail.
Where is OCDLOTR when I need her?

Yes, I think it was anice breaking case. I only got one prop but there was one extra sketch card.
Not bad 13 sketches by 8 different artist.
The YBR prop is about the thickness of the Monster Book of Monsters

Just so you all know...I have 19 variations total. 8 to 10 of each in b/w and then 1 full color( a few have 2 full color versions)
Then the 3 x 5 cards are all full color with ten variants each done 4-6 times.

they now have images of all of the cards up. this set looks great. i can't wait

http://www.breygent.com/wizardofoz.htm

my only negative thought is that the lion costume actually contains only 1 hair. so as long as there isn't a gues of wind it'll be a great set. Grin

Does it say "one hair"? --"Lions Hair From The Cowardly Lions Suit"
When a person combs their hair do they comb just one.... ROFL! Even Homer Simpson combs about three.

I remember reading that the suit was sold at auction to a collector a few years ago for a lot of money. I guess getting any of the hairs at all was an accomplishment. Imagine one sequin from the ruby slippers----probably impossible.

All the sketches seem to be of a high level, no Evolution "A" stuff seems to be shown.

Well, as it turns out the PROP does have ONE piece of ONE hair in it.
the card does look very nice.

ROFL! ROFL! It always cracks me up when a seller posts something like' 2 of 11" or "5 of 13" "rare. and then starts the bid at 9.99 and no reserve.

I bought cases. I am eventually going to sell one of the CAT cards. Haven't decided which one. May run an auction and let the high bidder choose one of the two and me keep the other one.

Hi

As I have been directed to this post by more than one fan, i thought I would reply to some of the questions regarding the Wizard of Oz sketch cards.

To answer your question, I only produced 65 sketch cards for the Wizard of Oz set. I felt that each one of the cards should be one-of-a-kind art work.

So in effect all the cards are 1/1 with a different scene on each. I hope you and the other fans enjoy. You can read more about these (and see the cards) and other projects at my web site.http://flahockey.com/ART%20of%20THE%20HUN.htm

cheers,

Chuck
