Last night I went to the Kelly Clarkson concert here in Melbourne, Australia...Thought I would share some pictures with u all!!!

The concert was absolutely awesome, she has such a great voice. There were alot of younger girlies around so I felt a bit old but it didnt matter. As you can see from the pics I was pretty close, in the 4th Row on the Floor so right at the front of the stage!

I have heaps and heaps of photos but dont want to take up too much space so just picked out some nice ones.

It is really strange down here that most people dont see Kelly as the American Idol winner, it is probably alot different in the US but down here she has really made a great name for herself and the arena was packed full of fans!

I wish I could have gone - while she'll always be the American Idol winner to me, I do legitimately enjoy her music - just check my ipod out Smiley And, I'm 33 so I know I'd be the oldest one there ...

Thanks for sharing the pics!!

She wore the purple top for a while, changed into the white dress for one song, then was in the red top for the last part. She was on stage for 1 hr 30 mins and only really went off to get changed, there was no intermission or anything, she just sang right through which I thought was really great! She has got such a great voice and sounds fantastic...if anyone gets the chance to see her live then definately do it!

I want to see her live!! Mt favorite song is Behind These Hazle Eyes, but I am almost getting hooked on that new one of hers!

I really dont look at her as being on American Idol because I dont watch it, but I didnt watch it when she was on Cool

I did buy the Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack just for that song ROFL!

I think many Americans just thought she was the American Idol winner through her first album. In her next album, her song "Since you've been gone" catapulted her higher than, I think, she even expected. It came out while I was at the university, and it was a huge hit.

I don't think of her as the American Idol winner all that much anymore. She has managed to do something that the previous American Idol winners weren't able to do ... she made a name for herself Grin

BTW, I'de love to see her in concert, Trey. And, you were soooooo close to her, too.
