In English-English a draft drawn on a bank is called a "cheque", in America, it's called a check.

At all other times we use the same spelling of check - for instance," I'm just calling the shop to check if they have my new trading cards in stock".

Anyway, if you are translating a website - NEVER NEVER NEVER just let the computer do it automatically by changing all instances of "check" in a website to "cheque"
