I know that 'shipping' is popular, but isn't this taking it just a little too seriously?
I love Mugglenet, it was the first Potter site I went to when I started getting into the series and I have found it to be a wonderful site. One of my fave features is the 'Wall of Shame' where particularly amusing hate mail is posted. They have just released a 'special edition' WoS to accomodate some of the more rabid Harry/Hermione shipper comments following the romance revelations of HBP.

What I'm talking about here is your responsibility to care about what your fans think and feel. Our money went into your pocket and our love went out to you for years, just the same as your beloved little R/Hr, H/G shippers. You need to not only acknowledge what you've done to so many of your fans but you need to own up to the fact that you were wrong to allow us to hope and believe for years at a time when you could have nipped it in the bud from the start without giving away your ultimate plot. It was cowardly of you to sink our ship with the Half-Blood Prince, and then insult us with your interview with Emerson and Melissa instead of on your website like you have with so many other ships that you knew wouldn't happen. No wonder so many of your fans have a negative view of you now, you've earned it.
I could see Ron/Hermione from PoA and I knew Harry would be going for Ginny eventually - was it really that unobvious? Betcha JKR is shaking in her boots!
To quote Emerson: 'Delusional!'
I am now off to work out whether I am a Harmony shipper, a r/h or h/g shipper
