I got a pretty vile email the other day from someone who wasn't happy with a "Vote pro-life" charm I have in my ebay store.  I reported to ebay but they won't do anything about it unless I'm physically threatened.  They say I should report it to the persons online provider.  Here's the weird part.  The email address it came from is in the UK, and when I looked at the auctions this person has won, it's obviously a guy.  Since Italian charms aren't big in the UK, especially for men, could it be possible that they are a member of the Yak Shack?  I do have links to my replica prop auctions on a couple of topic threads and they can check out my store from there.  I realize that anyone on ebay can do the same, but I was just wondering how I can cross reference the email address with member names to check this out.  The email address is admin@strangermedia.co.uk .  Also, how do I report this to thier email service?

Well, Kelly, would you expect anything less than vile speech from someone who would kill?

As a male, he has no business, in my opinion, in even mentioning the subject unless he is pregnant and pondering his next step.

What a woman does is her's and her partner's business (and the partner's only as a courtesy) and no one elses, and it's her responsibility for the results.

I personally tell all of the pollsters when they ask my opinion about pro-life/pro-choice that I'll let them know as soon as I conceive. They usually go silent, stutter and then hang up.

All good points, John.  Wink
Update:  I did a little research and also figured out how to look up Shack members by doing a search by email, website and name.  The guys name is Jeff Green and he's not a member here as far as I can tell.  Just a random looser.  Case closed and email blocked.

Oh heck no. That is scary can of worms! Shocked

I totally agree with John that the decision lies with the mother though.

Nope, that's ok Roz.  He has a website that I looked up from his email.  He has developed a couple of interactive games where you go to a bar, interact with characters and try to pick them up for a quick score, or murder.  Nice fella.  Huh  I don't intend to contact him in any way.  I would rather just stay away from low lifes.  Wink

Whether you are pro-choice or pro-life, I think it is best to stay out of what other people feel is right.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this guy, who doesn't even know you, writes you a letter like that?  I am shocked eBay did not do anything actually.
Maybe he searched the words pro-life and sent a nasty email to everyone about it Undecided
