Hmmm. It's not a correct calculation, but my feelings (depending on Jeff's great work) say that:

150   -   John Hurt as Mr. Ollivander
150   -   John Cleese as Nearly Headless Nick
200   -   Warwick Davis as Goblin Bank Teller
200   -   Joshua Herdman as Gregory Goyle
250   -   Ray Fearon as Firenze
250   -   Geraldine Somerville as Lily Potter
250   -   Leslie Phillips as The Sorting Hat
250   -   Ian Hart as Professor Quirrell
300   -   Alfred Enoch as Dean Thomas
300   -   Matthew Lewis as Neville Longbottom
400   -   Luke Youngblood as Lee Jordan
500   -   Adrian Rawlins as James Potter
500   -   Warwick Davis as Professor Flitwick
500   -   Devon Murray as Seamus Finnigan

Well, or near to that.  Roll Eyes

Does anyone think that artbox will ever release the breakdowns for autos from any of the Harry Potter sets???

As much as I wish they would release the breakdowns, I doubt they ever will. Nor will they ever tell us how many are held back to be used for other purposes (spares for replacements, licensors, etc.)

It sure would be nice to know though...

Well, they must be capable of giving hints, because Tom posted the approximate odds for Charlie Choccie autos in his auctions. The only trouble is that it adds up to almost exactly half of the boxes, so I don't think the "used for other purposes" are included. So I'm going to take a break until Goblet and not try to poll the universe and watch all of the breakdown posts.  Cheesy

So, I told the truth, I took a break until Goblet. But here's an updated report with the late-breaking box and case breakdowns, through 04 July 2007. Only 8 boxes were added in the last 18 months.

I assumed a 30% "overage" (total number of autos = about 5200, versus the expected 4000 from boxes. That's typical when you add up all of the prop numbers and costume numbers and divide by the number of boxes in the 800-case packaging run. We've seen 577 autographs in 1154 boxes, or 14.43% of the 800 cases.

Reported - Projected total - Signer

26   -   250   -   John Hurt as Mr. Ollivander
27   -   250   -   John Cleese as Nearly Headless Nick
29   -   250   -   Warwick Davis as Goblin Bank Teller
31   -   250   -   Joshua Herdman as Gregory Goyle

33   -   325   -   Geraldine Somerville as Lily Potter
35   -   325   -   Ray Fearon as Firenze
36   -   325   -   Leslie Phillips as The Sorting Hat
38   -   325   -   Ian Hart as Professor Quirrell

43   -   425   -   Alfred Enoch as Dean Thomas
48   -   425   -   Matthew Lewis as Neville Longbottom
50   -   425   -   Luke Youngblood as Lee Jordan

59   -   550   -   Adrian Rawlins as James Potter
