I just noticed something odd.  Both Anna and John posted scans of the chase set.  The borders on Anna's card look reddish-purple, but the borders on John's look bluish-purple.  Are there variants, or could this just be a difference in their scanners?

Anna's post is on page 2, post #20 at top of page.  John's is on page 10, post #183, four posts down from top of page.

Probably just the scanner.  Some of the other colors on the cards are different too.

EDIT ---- After now having looked at 450 of these cards, there is after all no different dominant colour. It looked that way when they were side-by-side, the light hit the cards at a different angle. When I put them in the same spot (Stacked up, that is) the color shifted again on me. 5-21-05 ----EDIT

Each card actually has a different dominant colour. They are foil- like and the colour changes as the angle of the light strikes the face of the card. You'll notice when you have them that each card does seem to have a different dominate colour (colour) or shade/hue. Also different under layered words appear as you move the card. Rather pleasing all-in-all.

I finally stopped opening packs to see what other people were saying and thinking.
