Ooohh, Anna!  I squeeled when I saw that candy card you pulled! ROFL!  That's my favorite one EVER.  Even better than the Fizzing Whizzbee eyeball you have.  Way to go!

The 3 boxes I opened this morning were my rewards.  I got to open 1 boxes for finally sorting all of my base sets from the 4 cases I opened last month.  The other 2 boxes were my reward for re-entering auctions back into the Price Guide.  The Wizard Candy card was in the 3rd box, in the next to the last pack I opened. Thanks Cheesy

I will be adding the Fizzing Whizzbee eyeball card to my Trade/Sell list in Diagon Alley.  If anyone is interested, send me a PM. Smiley

EDIT:  It appears that my trade list is missing from Diagon Alley. Undecided  It must have gotten deleted when we had the hosting problem. Angry  I will create a new list and post it in Diagon Alley later today.

Thats a wonderful card Anna!  Cheesy
Just a question though...is it usual to find stress marks in a wizard candy swatch? I just pulled a fantastic Fizzing Whizzbees card (the "ZZ" of Fizzing) and I just wanted to make sure it doesnt de-value the card? Anyway Ive opened 8 boxes and here is what I have gotten:

Male students Gryffindor jumper
Female students skirt
Hagrid's shirt
Fluffy's Fur
Wizard Candy
Practice Broom
Daily Prophet (nice card with just a floral type pattern on it)
Josh Herdman as Gregory Goyle
Adrial Rawlins as James Potter
Alfred Enoch as Dean Thomas (covered in fingerprints when I got to it - wonder if they were Alfred's?  Cheesy)
Luke Youngblood as Lee Jordan
Harry with wand filmcard (cells are vault 713)
Harry being sorted filmcard (cells are vault 713)
About a million foil sets, lol.

So really nothing out of the ordinary which Im a little disheartened about but Ive still got 2 boxes to go. Just a couple of Q's...when I put my 50pt cards in the screwdowns no matter how hard I try the lid wont sit flat. Is it because the screw isnt straight? Also is it usual to find auto cards with fingerprints on them as I knew they couldnt be mine because I was htumbing through them wearng cotton gloves.  Huh

I have some creases in my Wizard Candy swatches.  I don't think it de-values the card since the props were supposed to have been used in the movie, so in reality, the swatches shouldn't be perfect.

My cards fit tightly in the 50 pt screw-down cases also.  The next larger size screw-down case is a Pro-Mold 80 pt one, Ultra-Pro 100 pt one or a BCW 120 pt one.  I only have BCW cases so the 120 case is way too big for my cards, so I put them in the 50 pt ones even though they fit snugly. Undecided

Congratulations on your pulls so far.  I can't wait to see your Wizard Candy card variant. Grin

Has anyone noticed the base card with Harry and his mum on it (I think its called a Mothers love) the mobile behind them has got owls on, bless Grin. It makes you realise how much is put in to films for seconds that you don't even notice. I sometimes feel bad for the props guys  Undecided

The mobile would have made a great prop card!  I'm still ticked off that Artbox didn't make a Harry baby blanket card...and a Quirrell turban...and a Sirius prison costume (for POA).  So many missed opportunities. Roll Eyes

I mean how much work would have gone into the mobile for a few seconds? Harry's blanket would have been great (I get a little teary when I see the picture of Dumbley leaving Harry and privet drive). I think the trouble with the SS stuff is the time in between things could have been sold, lost, taken or thrown away. Sirius stuff would have been good.

Right latest box came today, hopefully the last, I am hdeading towards a case Roll Eyes not sure what happened to the 'just one box'.

Anyway it as good two cards I haven't already got.

Box No. 2595
Chase cards R1, R3, R5, R6, R9

Auto Dean Thomas
Prop Practice broom

I wasn't after this auto, but it is a nice one and my one looks a bit nicer than the one on the price guide must be from the start of his signing run Wink
