Those are so cool!! Do you realize how much $ you have sitting there? I have some of these also!! But not as many as you!!!  I recently went to my parents home to gather them up and couldn't find a single one!  Found out that my sister took them when she moved out!!  She still hasn't given them back yet!!  |

I have some of those from when I was real young, but not in anywhere near that condition I could be just blind, but those look nice enough to be almost fresh out of the box. Very nice collection! |

Wow nice collection of vintage figures there when i went to a few uk conventions i saw a loose R2-D2 selling in a plastic bag for about £140.00. I have a huge collection of 12 inch figures,episode 1 smaller figures all mint in boxes and on cards which im selling due to ill health anyone interested for a list and prices let me know please,i also have some rare itmes on  my id is batman7777batman. I have some of those from when I was real young, but not in anywhere near that condition I could be just blind, but those look nice enough to be almost fresh out of the box. Very nice collection! I was always very carefull with my toys when I was young. Unlike my own kids who like to destroy things and take stuff apart to see how it works! Anyway, these still have the original plastic capes and lightsabers. I lost Han Solo, Leia, and Boba Fetts blasters, but I have all the rest. I think I played with Boba Fett the most, when I found him in the closet he had string tied around his chest so he could go down a zip line!  I used to have a land speeder and an x-wing fighter too, but I have no idea what happened to those. :'( |

About 10 years ago at a christmas bazar (basically a yardsale at churches if you don't know) I picked up a gallon ziplock bag full of the original figures with their accessories for 25 cents.  I asked the lady if it was 25 cents apice or for the whole bag, sure enough it was for the bag. I was about 10 at the time so I was thrilled. I looked up the prices in a guide and a few are worth over $100 each. |

The only original SW toy I have is the Imperial Shuttle - is pretty much mint, and the wings work but I don't have the box.
As for the rest of my SW collection, you SO don't wanna know how much **** I have in our loft. I think I have every single one of the Freeze Frame figures that were released a few years ago, all on the cards, never been opened. And the holofoil cards, and some of the original orange release cards, and most of the EP1, 2 & 3 figures. A load of 12" dolls (including a full Cantina Band Set) and vehicles, vehicles, vehicles, all boxed. I'm dreading moving house!
Actually I stopped after Ep3 - I think they've milked it beyond any sense of reason. I cannot see the point of the new "Saga" line, everybody who collects already has all the characters so why you need them with a new sculpt is questionable.
It's all about the money...

When I was about 7, I got a Darth Vader (Empire strikes back release) Signed by David Prowse He told me he was just about to go and film the next one if I would like to come (probably winking at my dad over my head) I of course told him i prefered butlins and opened my new figure as I left the shop! My dad still tortures me about it, Because he knows it devastates me!! |

That would also devestate me hearing that story re-told back to me but as a kid you just want to get a toy out of the packaging and play with it. I remember going to a department store in Tooting where I used to live when Return Of The Jedi was released and in the toy department they had someone dressed as Darth Vader and as I was young and $ foot nothing and he just towered over me with the breating sound effects and voice box too just was too much for me ,loved seeing on film but in the flesh was horrifying. Now when I go to shows like Memorabilia at NEC in Birmingham I just stand in respect to the dedicated fans who dress up in Vader,Stormtrooper costumes with voice boxes and replica guns,I get so jealous and wish I could afford to buy a costume and join 501st squadron of imperial troopers. I have also seen so many loose vintage toys being sold at shows for a lot of money one I saw was an R2-D2 figure selling for £450 Cheers Paul |

The R2 you have is the 77 sensor scope and it's worth about £14.00 if it's in good shape. The Fett blaster is the same as the stormtoopers so swap that over if fett is in good shape and that worth about £17-£20 depending on condition. None of the ones in the photo are from the "last 17" so they are not the big money figures but you still have well over £100.00 worth of SW figures there. If you want prices on all of them send me a larger photo and I can grade them and give you more details  Vintage stuff is still populer but SW is dieing off at the moment. The real question is do you want to hang on to them and hope the TV show brings interest back or eBay them now and take your chances |

(really I kid you not thats basicly the only thing that works with him becuse he is made from a harder plastic than most of the others so he can go brital rather than soft and gummy like 99% of the other figs.) Your probably talking about the cantina display set? it is very nice indeed for the vintage figs. The older figures are always the cooler ones |

I wish I still had mine I passed mine down to My nephew who took care of them like I did. The only ones I was hard on were the stormtroopers. I can't tell You how many of those poor saps I nuked.  |
