i shall never ever ever say anything bad about Rittenhouse having a 6 case card insentive ever again.by this standard they are besically giving them away to the collectors.1 per 50 cases is just stupid though

For the Quotable Star Trek TNG, Rittenhouse even had 2-case incentive cards.  What can't Artbox do something like this?

That is a really bad idea for a joke... Tongue

Guess that will be something on our wish list, huh? I think it would be cute if they put, say 5 of them in the boxes just so the ordinary collector would have a chance of getting one (no matter how remote).

Artbox - you are evil Tongue

Hmm...I was so excited when I saw the scan of the announcement in the other thread, but the case incentive info really took the wind out of my sails.

I understand the reasoning behind it.  It's just that it would be nice if there were even a slim chance of pulling one of those cards from a pack.  I'm very disappointed with the wands, in particular.

Reasoning is good, yes. But what is the point of making a series of cards, with which you want to attract customers most of whom have no chance of getting some of the most desirable cards in the sets? You aren't going to win over people if they know that they have no chance at getting the things that you use to lure them in with anyway!

I'm all for dealer cards. Heck, they deserve them with all the money they spend on the product. But would it be too much to ask for if a handful of htese cards to be put in packs as well?

Hmmm. Thinking about the "wands" Prop cards, i'm not sure what to expect. I remember the first unconfirmed info here:

Props:
Harry's Wand,
Ron's Wand,
Hermoine's Wand

So is it possible that the 10 case incentives will be different cards?  Shocked Roll Eyes The sheet only tells us "Wands". Hmmm.....

Thank you, FTY!  My sentiments, exactly, but you expressed it much better than I did.

Welcome bogleg

I think artbox seems to forget about the little buyers.
I will never have a master set but at least they could give us a chance to get a really special card.

the reason i don't like hotboxes is then you know there are dud boxes

Every card company has dud boxes.  The difference is that some companies will help out collectors who receive them.  From what we've heard from forum members, Artbox doesn't.  Maybe that will change now that they're numbering boxes. Roll Eyes

I don't understand......
lets say there will be 20-25 of the 50 case incentives.

I understand that Artbox would give a few away here and there.  But how many dealers are really set to purchase 50 cases?  I cant imagine more than 4 or 5 dealers buying that many cases.  Seeing as the incentive was only recently announced, and case orders are pretty much filled.  How do the rest of the cards get distrubuted if say, only 4 dealers get the incentive?
