I wondered the same thing. All my cards have just the black circle apart from my 'hermione's robe' which has the grey circle inside  Huh

Help us somebody. I was thinking maybe the machine punching the hole did it but that would make it a varient or something of that nature and Artbox never said anything about a defalt machine stamping the cards Huh

It could have something to do with the aesthetics of the swatch.

For instance, I only looked at a few examples, but it appeared that the lighter colored swatches had the grey one and the darker swatches had the black one. I know this can be easily disproved by Harry's grey shirt (HPU) and Hermione Jumper (HPU), but something along those lines maybe.

Perhaps, directly emailing artbox with your question may help. I'm not even sure if the black/grey thing is uniform with respect to an individual card.

hmmm well my quidditch card doesn't have the grey, but the black robe does  Huh so maybe it can't go by the colour of the swatch  Undecided I don't think it means anything major (if it does, it'd be a bonus  Cheesy) Might just be that one of the printing machines was set up differently and printed the grey circles instead of black.

From my experience with emailing artbox, they generally don't email on weekends with regards to customer service.

I think Zero's right.  Artbox probably made them using both colors just because the chosen color compliments the swatch better.

Oh, ok. I never really looked at the swatch when I found the little grey circle.
