Is that a badgers bottom

This is why I am sure that in some dusty store room an unopened box contains just gorgeous cards.  There must be a head somewhere!!!!

I love your variant dual by the way.  I did see at least one of these up for sale and just thought there was lots of them so didn't bid.  Guess who's kicking themselves now Roll Eyes

Thank you.  If it was mine you saw on eBay, as it was some time ago, I thank you for not bidding.  If you did, I might not own the card today Cheesy

Not necassarily.  Think about it, these swatches get cut, but a portion of them is actually under our cards.  So if this is the bottom of the badger, there is still some under the card, and then the head, would could be under someone else's card, which shows more of the border, like mine.  If that makes any sense at all.

Thanks to kbmum, I have this auction that shows the hufflepuff patch.  It will give you an idea of what these swatches were from (but this is not an actual real prop, just a replica):

Thats interesting Huh

The bear is facing the other way in the whole patch to that on the card.

Actually now I have typed it, it's not actually that interesting Grin.  But maybe a bit curious?  Maybe something to do with licencing?

You saw a Gryffindor patch?  when?  where?  What did it look like?  This is what we all want to see!!!!

As for the badger facing a different way, I believe it is because the swatch is put in sideways, or upside down.  Mine is as well.

There have been quite a few examples of swatches placed incorrectly in the cards.  I have a first set Daily Prophet with an upside down swatch and I've seen costume card swatches that were a bit skewed.

But they got around those permission slips, so why not with Harry variants?

We can always hope!
